We offer many diverse activities for all ages and interests and we are located within 30 miles of the Iowa Speedway, vineyards and wineries, Vegas-style casino, and other exciting attractions.
The Marshalltown Convention & Visitors Bureau (MCVB) works with you to make your event a success. We’re prepared to assist you from the initial planning stages through your closing session. Our staff will provide services tailored to meet your needs.
If you’re unfamiliar with Marshalltown, we can accompany you on a community tour and site visit to help you prepare your event agenda, logistics, and extra-curricular activities. Then, let us help you prepare a proposal that dazzles your organization
If you are planning a business meeting, let us help with registration and provide welcome bags complete with Visitors Guide, pen, and name tags. We can also provide a tabletop display with information on tour options for attendees.
Planning a convention? Let us assist you with media and press releases. We can also provide your attendees with options of places to stay. We’d be pleased to gather group rate information and offer a free Welcome Reception (for qualified groups).
Tournament planning is made easy and fun with our many options for dining and entertainment, as well as a marquee welcome for your group.
Our grant program is one of the most competitive advantages of doing business in Marshalltown. This is designed to help you with the promotion and transportation needs of your event. We also support community events through our local events grant program.
